Puerto Rico Flowers Announce Debut LP, Get Kurt Vile to Guest
Fans of punishing Philadelphia punk group Clockcleaner may have been disappointed to see the group fizzle out in recent years, but controversial frontman John Sharkey III has continued to push the envelope with the gothy synth pop of his new band Puerto Rico Flowers.

Last year, Puerto Rico Flowers emerged with a seven-inch and a twelve-inch, both released on Baltimore's Fan Death Records. Now, they have announced plans to release their debut album. The record is called 7, a descriptor of the number of songs on the album, and features Philadelphia psych dude Kurt Vile on the track "Keep Me Around."

7 will be available on vinyl and as a digital download on May 31 via Fan Death Records. Keep an eye on the label website for pre-orders, while snippets of each track are available below.

7:

1. "I Feel Good"
2. "3 Sisters"
3. "The Pain Comes Slowly"
4. "Burning Down Your House"
5. "Freezing Tears"
6. "Keep Me Around" *
7. "After the Weekend"

* featuring Kurt Vile
