Next year marks the 10th anniversary of Protest the Hero's Fortress, a full-length that found the Canadian outfit taking their metal mastery to critically acclaimed heights. In looking ahead to 2018, the band have announced a run of anniversary tour dates to mark the occasion.
Kicking things off in Detroit on March 22, Protest the Hero will tour the record around Canada and the United States for a total of 27 shows. The run will end at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on May 4, with Canadian stops also slated for Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Halifax and Moncton.

Fortress was recorded in 2007 alongside producer Julius Butty (Alexisonfire, City and Colour), making its debut at No. 1 in Canada and at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard Top Independent Album chart. The album was certified Gold in Canada in 2015.
