Fresh off lining up a Canadian tour alongside A Wilhelm Scream, Ontario metal outfit Protest the Hero are giving fans an inside look at the band history and album creation process with a new six-part documentary. Titled Of Our Own Volition, the behind-the-scenes series is available online today.

"For those not in the know,
Of Our Own Volition is a documentary series about the creation of our last full length album, Volition," the band wrote in a Facebook post. "It covers every aspect of the album cycle from song-writing all the way up to the final show. This is your ticket to discovering how we write, record, release, and support an album. It's also a behind the scenes and historical exploration of where we came from and where the frig we are headed!"

The documentary was previously only available to those who had signed up for their Pacific Myth subscription-based service last year, which saw the band release one song each month. What's more, the band are set to follow through on their promise to give those songs a physical release, with a recent Instagram post revealing that the test pressings have been delivered for a listen. The tentative release for the physical edition is set for November 18.

UPDATE (10/7, 1:47 PM): The physical edition of Pacific Myth is now available for pre-order here.
