Propagandhi Announce New Guitarist

Propagandhi's months-long quest for a new axe-slinger is over. The Winnipegan vegans have announced that the replacement for longtime member David "Space Beaver" Guillas is Sulynn Hago. That's her on the far left in the picture above.

According to a blog post the band delivered today (September 30), Hago doles out the string damage on a Gibson SG, and "she's ready to crack some fuckin skulls with it onstage with us."

An introductory message from Hago reads:

"Hey everyone! I'm Sulynn. I'll be responsible for adding long hair head banging and stage left guitar riffage at Propagandhi shows from here on out. I'm from Tampa, Florida where I spend my days drinking lots of coffee, nerding out on the guitar for hours, running my own business teaching guitar, and squeezing in sweaty yoga sessions when I can. I feel beyond stoked to get to play with a group of guys who have influenced my playing and taste for a very long time. It's gonna be a rad time, and I hope to get to share the experience with you all. Let's rage!"

Prior to joining Propagandhi, Hago was playing in a band called Career. You can check out a video of the act playing below, and find out more about the project through Hago's personal website.

Propagandhi promise shows with the tweaked-up lineup are "coming down the pike," though details on these performances have not yet been revealed.

The punk band's last LP was 2012's Failed States.
