Project Pablo to Deliver Inaugural 12-inch for Arbutus Side Label SOBO

Coming off the recent release of Project Pablo's Priorities EP for Magic Wire, the Montreal-based house artist born Patrick Holland has announced yet another release for another label. His Beaubien Dream arrives for new Arbutus side-label SOBO on June 3.

The 12-inch is the inaugural release for SOBO, whose name is an acronym for Sounds of Beaubien Ouest. The pairing is fitting, considering Holland's home rests on Montreal's Rue Beaubien. It's added in a press materials that the imprint "is headed up by fellow longstanding citizens of the Beaubien Ouest hood."

"This 12 is an homage to the street and it's residents that I love so dearly," Holland wrote on his Facebook page. "Life really has been a bit of a Beaubien Dream ever since I moved to Montreal, and it continues on with SOBO."

A-side "Closer" had been given its live premiere last October during a Boiler Room set in London, but makes its official vinyl debut on the single. You can sample the track below, though you'll have to wait until June to hear B-side cuts "Royal Plus" and "Beaubien Dream."
