Earlier this month, Brooklyn duo Prince Rama channelled 10 different band personas for their Top 10 Hits of the End of the World LP, and now Emeralds guitar slinger Mark McGuire has completely flipped the script on one of those tracks with a fancy new remix.
The LP's "So Destroyed" has been reworked by McGuire as a "Road Chief Destroyed Soul Mix" and features sisters Taraka and Nimai Larson's somewhat pop, somewhat chant-style vocals surrounded by West Coast g-funk synths and electro-pop bass lines. It's an ethereal reworking of the cut, which was originally a fuzzy dance rock jam the band offered up as the fictional unit Rage Peace.
