Prince Announces "Welcome 2 Canada" Tour

Prince Announces "Welcome 2 Canada" Tour
Back in the summer, Prince said that he was going to stop recording new music due to the loss of revenue thanks to online piracy. Evidently that isn't stopping him from hitting the road, however, as the Purple One has announced plans to tour across Canada.

Before the year's end, Prince will be playing 11 shows right here in the Great White North. After launching the outing with a pair of gigs in Toronto, he will head east to Atlantic Canada before making his way west all the way to Vancouver Island. The trip lasts for a little more than three weeks in all, running from late November to mid-December.

Fittingly enough, this jaunt is being dubbed the "Welcome 2 Canada" tour. Tickets for the many of the dates go on sale on Friday (November 4) from Ticketmaster. If you feel like splurging, VIP packages will be available.
