PRhyme "PRhyme"

Slaughterhouse spitter Royce da 5'9" and legendary Gang Starr producer DJ Premier have their self-titled full-length collaboration as PRhyme coming out next month, but you can catch a little bit of the action early via a newly unveiled stream of the set's boombastic and soulful title track.

As previously reported, the project has Premier plucking beats from composer Adrian Younge (Black Dynamite, Twelve Reasons to Die), with "PRhyme" lacing together low-key piano sounds, flute loops and a slinking groove around Royce's rhymes. The rapper whispers some of his lines as he talks about his "reformed life," pledging, among other things, to quit his philandering ways.

Since Royce is getting deep into his own psyche, an on-topic sample of Method Man form Wu-Tang's "16 Chambers" is threaded into the arrangement.

The duo's album is due December 9 through their own PRhyme imprint, and will feature guest appearances from Killer Mike, Schoolboy Q, Common, Ab-soul and more.
