Previously Fanclub-Only U2 Remix Album Featuring Trent Reznor, Justice and Hot Chip Gets Triple-Vinyl Release

Following the fan-club-only release of U2's remix album Artificial Horizon, the grandiose arena-rockers have announced that the band are now taking pre-orders for a forthcoming limited-edition, triple-vinyl version of the LP, which features other artists remixing and covering some of the band's biggest hits from their storied career.

The band-curated Artificial Horizon will see a vinyl release on May 14. Fans can pre-order the album up to that date, at which point orders will no longer be taken and the record will commence pressing. Every pre-order will come with a free download of Snow Patrol's unreleased remix of "Unknown Caller." All pre-orders are being taken here, and no fanclub membership is required.

As we reported earlier, the album features remixes by the likes of Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Justice and Hot Chip, among others, and includes three unreleased remixes: "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (Live U2360 Remix)," "Get On Your Boots (Fish Out Of Water Mix)" and Hot Chip's 2006 Remix of "City Of Blinding Lights."

Given the rarity of U2's last remix album, 1995's Melon: Remixes For Propaganda, you might want to act on this one early.
