Following in the footsteps of Modular label-mates Cut Copy, this Sydney-based duo unabashedly and refreshingly celebrate the hedonistic side of club music. Meshing a dirty disco beat with a menacing synth line, this new single from their Beams album isn’t exactly innovative, but with such self-deprecating, oddball humour, it’s hard not to fall for their art damaged, ’80s pastiche.
