December is a chilly time out on the Prairies, but the nasty weather isn't stopping a few artists from the region from bundling up and hitting the road. The collaborative tour is called the Prairie Roots Revue, and it will be hitting up cities in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in the next couple of weeks.

The acts on board for the travelling revue are Ryan Boldt of the Deep Dark Woods, Zachary Lucky, Carly Maicher, and Kacy and Clayton.

The jaunt kicks off this Thursday (December 6) in Bruno, SK. From there, the musicians will head west into Alberta before travelling back across Saskatchewan as far east as Winnipeg. The trip wraps up on December 15 in Rockglen, SK.

This is the Prairie Roots Revue's second year. Last year's event boasted a similar lineup with Boldt, Lucky and Maicher joined by Northcote.

12/6 Bruno, SK - Bruno Arts Bank
12/7 Edmonton, AB - The Elevation Room
12/9 Calgary, AB - Wine Ohs
