Posthumous J Dilla Album 'The Rebirth of Detroit' to Feature Chuck Inglish, Guilty Simpson, Illa J and More
After last month's Dillatroit, it's already been a good time to be a fan of the late hip-hop producer J Dilla. Next week, however, his biggest posthumous release yet will drop in the form of The Rebirth of Detroit.

As previously reported, the album will mark the first release from Ruff Draft Records, a new label founded by Dilla's mother Ma Dukes and her business partner Jonathon Taylor.

Speaking with AllHipHop, Taylor said, "I named this project The Rebirth of Detroit because there will be no more outsourcing of Detroit soul and culture as in the recent past."

The full list of rappers who lent their verses to Dilla's beats fully supports this notion, as it's a Detroit-heavy roster that includes the Cool Kids' Chuck Inglish, Boldy James, Danny Brown, Illa J, Guilty Simpson, Tha Almighty Dreadnaughtz and many others. The full tracklisting is available below.

A CD edition The Rebirth of Detroit will be available on June 12 via Ruff Draft through Fat Beats. Then, later this year, a vinyl edition will be pressed, though there's no solid release date for that just yet.
