A new posthumous album from founding Test Icicles member Sam Mehran has been announced. Cold Brew arrives July 28 via Weird World, on the third anniversary of the artist's passing.

Cold Brew was compiled under the guidance of Mehran's father, Abbas Mehran, and curated by friends Nicholas Weiss and Katie Wagner.

The 17-track instrumental effort, recorded by Mehran between April and May 2018, marks the first time his solo music will see release under his own name.

Ahead of Cold Brew's arrival, you can hear the title track and another titled "Loungy" below.

Mehran co-founded Test Icicles with Rory Atwell in 2004, ahead of Dev Hynes (a.k.a. Blood Orange) joining the fold. They would release a lone studio album, For Screening Purposed Only, in 2005 ahead of splitting up the following year.
