This month, Suoni per il Popolo is running in Montreal while NXNE is on in Toronto. Not to be outdone, Guelph will be hosting a music series of its own called Post-Fest, which will go from June 18 to 22.

Hosted by local arts organization Silence and online music series Pinball Sessions, Post-Fest will bring a string of shows to Silence's performance space at 46 Essex St. in Guelph.

Performers throughout the five days include Vancouver garage rockers Tough Age, Toronto electronic cosmologists Doomsquad, Toronto-via-Edmonton indie rocker Michael Rault, Maritime garage-psych combo Monomyth, well-travelled songwriter Devon Sproule, Glaswegian folkies Trembling Bells, atmospheric psych songwriter Zones, and more.
