Portishead's Geoff Barrow Returns with New BEAK> Song

It's appropriately called "Sex Music"

While Portishead member Geoff Barrow continues to stay busy helming Invada Records, the output from his BEAK> project has slowed to a crawl these days. In fact, the last time we heard from them it was with 2016's "Timeshare," making their return today (April 12) a welcomed one indeed.

BEAK> have emerged to share the new track called "Sex Music." As you'll soon hear, it's packed with chunky synths, Italian crime basswork and fogged-out vocals.

The track is apparently our first taste of a new BEAK> album, which will follow 2012's >>. Few other details about the new LP are available at this point, but "Sex Music" will arrive as a 7-inch on June 9.

For now, hear the song for yourself below.
