A few members of Vancouver folk-rock ensemble Portage & Main stopped by the Exclaim! neighbourhood while they where in Toronto for Canadian Music Week for an Exclaim! TV session.
Stripped down from their usual five-piece band, John Sponarski, Harold Donnelly and Georges Couiling performed an acoustic rendition of "Sweet Darlin'" from their latest album, Never Had the Time. Only armed with two guitars, the band sounds huge with the three members belting out rich harmonies that build to a tremendous wall of sound. You can watch the performance below.
Portage & Main just finished up a Canadian tour with White Ash Falls. Their latest self-released album, Never Had the Time, is in-stores now.
