Police have made five arrests in connection to the murder of rising rapper Pop Smoke.

While the investigation is ongoing, the LAPD has so far arrested three adults and two minors in connection to the case, TMZ reports. At this point, it unclear what charges may be laid on the suspects, but all five are in custody and currently being interviewed by police.

UPDATE (7/14, 12 p.m. ET): Four of the arrested individuals have now been formally charged in connection to Pop Smoke's murder. Two of the suspects — Corey Walker, 19, and Keandre Rodgers, 18 — have been charged with murder and now face the death sentence if convicted. Two minors — aged 17 and 15 — have also been charged with one count each of murder and and robbery in juvenile court. The two minors have not been identified.

As previously reported, the 20-year-old artist was shot and killed during an armed robbery at his home in the Hollywood Hills in February.

Just the other week, Pop Smoke was treated to the posthumous album Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon.
