This year's Pop Montreal line-up has been announced. The five-day festival will run from October 3 to 7, and will be headlined by legendary punk icon and Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame member Patti Smith. Other acts schedule to perform include: Cody ChesnuTT, Pere Ubu, Half Japanese, Black Mountain, Sunset Rubdown, the National, A-Trak, Caribou, Final Fantasy, Bobby Conn, Tiga, Qui and Fujiya & Miyagi, among many, many others. Organisers have promised it "will be the kind of festival to make you all giddy and goofy. It will make you believe, it will make you dance and cry and lose your shit."
