Published Oct 03, 2010The Depreciation Guild hail from Brooklyn and boast the membership of Kurt Feldman, who also runs with the Pains of Being Pure at Heart. In theory, the show should have been packed, especially because the trio have been making Internet headlines with their new album Spirit Youth. But instead, the event was a poorly attended one, which was a shame. In spite of the cold Sunday night and a scant audience, the Depreciation Guild sallied forth like real pros. They even had to overcome a bit of an altercation with the sound guy, which would have left a lesser band with a bad taste in their mouth. But, soon all the world's problems were solved and the Depreciation Guild played their haunting pop to a room full of people who will surely rave to their friends about the band they foolishly missed.
