After revealing the 10-album shortlist last month, organizers behind the Polaris Music Prize have confirmed the acts who will bring their talents to the stage the night the award is presented.

Five of the 10 nominees from this year's shortlist are currently set to perform during the September 18 gala at Toronto's Carlu. The performers list includes Lisa LeBlanc, Lido Pimienta, Tanya Tagaq, Leif Vollebekk and Weaves. A press release also states, "More acts may be announced at a later date."

In addition to the evening's entertainment, Polaris organizers have revealed the list of grand jurors set to take part in the decision-making this year. The panel includes Brian Cleveland (CFMH), Francella Fiallos (CKDU), Erin Flynn (CHUO 89.1 FM), Vish Khanna (Kreative Kontrol), Nick Krewen (freelance), Erik Leijon (freelance), Tara McCarthy (CBC Radio One), Catherine Pogonat (Radio-Canada), Sandra Sperounes (Capital City Records), Laura Stanley (freelance) and Brad Wheeler (The Globe And Mail).

As previously reported, the grand jury will determine the year's best Canadian album, "judged solely on artistic merit, without consideration of genre or record sales," at the Carlu. One artist will be awarded the title of best Canadian album and a cash prize of $50,000. The nine runners-up will each receive $3,000.
