Polar Bear Club Roll Out Headlining North American Tour Behind 'Death Chorus,' Premiere New Song

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 6, 2013

Poppy post-hardcore crew Polar Bear Club are set to drop their Rise Records debut Death Chorus on November 19, but their North American headlining tour behind the release will start up earlier that month.

A press release explains that following a stretch of support dates for Taking Back Sunday, the band's own "Death Tourus" kicks off November 8 in New York. Polar Bear Club and supporting acts Citizen, Diamond Youth and Sainthood Reps land in Canada twice on the trek, playing Toronto and Vancouver.

You'll find all the show info down below.

As for Death Chorus, the follow-up to 2011's Exclaim!-approved Clash Battle Guilt Pride, the record was produced Will Yip (Title Fight, Blacklisted) at Conshohocken, PA's Studio 4. Ahead of the album release, the band are previewing the set's "Blood Balloon," which you can stream down below.

"We're excited to have people finally hear a snippet of our new record. Teaming up with Will was really special, he did an amazing job and now you all can hear that too," vocalist Jimmy Standt said in a statement. "Hope you're all excited about it as well as excited about the tour."
