They have also deleted the episode in the wake of the backlash

T.I. became T.M.I. after revealing on the Ladies Like Us podcast yesterday that he accompanies his daughter to the gynecologist once a year. In the wake of online backlash, hosts Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham have pulled the episode and issued an apology.

"To everyone confused, angry and hurt by the recent episode of Ladies Like Us, we want to start off by saying that we sincerely apologize for our knee jerk reaction to the uncomfortable topic," Mandi and Moham wrote in an Instagram post.

"We were completely caught off guard/shocked and looking back, we should have reacted much differently in the moment. The comments that were made and the reaction that followed are not in any way a reflection of our personal views on the topic."

As previously reported, T.I. revealed in the now-deleted episode that he accompanies daughter Deyjah Harris to the gynecologist once a year to make sure her hymen is still intact.

"So we'll go and sit down and the doctor comes and talk, and the doctor's maintaining a high level of professionalism," T.I. said. "He's like, 'You know, sir, I have to, in order to share information' — I'm like, 'Deyjah, they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you would not want me to know? See, Doc? Ain't no problem.'"

He continued: "And so then they come and say, 'Well, I just want you to know that there are other ways besides sex that the hymen can be broken like bike riding, athletics, horseback riding, and just other forms of athletic physical activity. So I say, 'Look, Doc, she don't ride no horses, she don't ride no bike, she don't play no sports. Just check the hymen, please, and give me back my results expeditiously.'"

T.I. himself has yet to comment on the backlash. You can read Mandi and Moham's apology below.
