Plumes Map Out Canadian Tour Dates

BY Alex HudsonPublished May 2, 2013

The members of Flotilla are still going strong under the name Plumes, and having released a self-titled album last summer, they will continue to promote it in the coming weeks with a Canadian tour.

The trek begins with some Western Canadian dates that run from late May through early June and finds the baroque-tinged outfit playing a number of shows in the Prairies, in addition to heading west all the way to British Columbia. After that, they will play some gigs in Ontario and Quebec in late June.

On tour, the core trio of frontwoman Veronica Charnley, multi-instrumentalist Geof Holbrook and harpist Eveline Gregoire-Rousseau will be joined by percussionist Preston Beebe, clarinetist Louise Campbell, and viola player Pemi Paull. See the schedule below.

Some of the songs from Plumes are streaming at the bottom of the page.
