Fresh off his Juno nomination for Electronic Album of the Year, UK-born, Canadian-raised musician Plastikman (real name Richie Hawtin) has announced plans for a new EP.
As implied in the title, the EX Club Mixes EP reworks tracks from last year's EX, featuring remixes from high-profile peers.
Berlin-based producer Dixon tackles "EXhale," while fellow German Recondite delivers a new take on "EXplore." "EXpand" is given the remix treatment by Tale of Us, and the four-track EP closes out with a remix of "EXposed" courtesy of Grammy-winning Dubfire.
EX marked Plastikman's first record since 2003's Closer. EX Club Mixes arrives digitally today (January 27) with a 12-inch release to follow on March 31 via Mute.
