Plaid Line Up Canadian Dates on North American Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jun 30, 2011

It has now been 20 years since UK-based IDM duo Plaid released their debut album Mbuki Mvuki, but they've far from hung up the hat. Instead, the sound team of Andrew Turner and Ed Handley have announced a North American tour to take place this November.

The run of dates kicks off with a pair of Canadian shows in Montreal on November 9 and Toronto on November 10. From there, Plaid will cruise around the United States for a while, eventually surfacing in Canada for a Vancouver show on November 21.

We wish we could offer an update on the band's long-delayed new album Scintilli, but there is no solid information on when it will be released. The best we can do is point to a guessing-game contest on the group's website, where fans can win a Plaid shirt and download code for Chime Super Delux if they guess correctly. Check it out here.
