PJ Harvey Contributes New Songs to 'What Is This Film Called Love?' Movie
PJ Harvey caused a massive stir with her last album, 2011's Let England Shake, which earned her a spot on the Exclaim! cover and the coveted Mercury Prize. Her newest music, however, will be released in a far more low-key fashion, as she has contributed a couple of new tunes to What Is This Film Called Love?, a documentary by Irish critic Mark Cousins.

The Wire notes that Harvey has offered up two new songs just for the occasion: "Horse" and "Bobby Don't Steal." The film also includes the previously released title track from 1995's To Bring You My Love. According to the film's Facebook page, British songwriter Simon Fisher Turner also contributed material to the soundtrack.

The film was written, directed, filmed and co-produced by Cousins, and is said to be a "a passionate, 77-minute poetic documentary about the nature of happiness." It's still unfinished, but a preview screening will come to London, UK's All Tomorrow's Parties on May 27.

There's currently no word as to when the film will see an official release, or when and if the soundtrack will be released. Check back to the flick's Facebook page for updates.
