Pixies are set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut mini-album and first full-length record with a special box set dubbed Come on Pilgrim…It's Surfer Rosa. It's due out September 28 via 4AD.
The set will be released in three-CD and three-LP formats, featuring the band's eight-track mini-album Come on Pilgrim, debut album Surfer Rosa and a live recording called Live from the Fallout Shelter, which was first aired on WJUL-FM in Lowell, MA, in 1986.
The standard 3-LP vinyl version arriving in September will come on gold vinyl with a softbound book. However, an additional super deluxe version of the set will arrive in November, boasting the three-LP release on clear vinyl, along with a hardcover book instead.

The artwork for all versions was designed by Vaughan Oliver, who has collaborated with the group on all of their previous releases.
