Published Apr 21, 2014Indie rock act the Pixies have compiled their recent EP releases to create Indie Cindy, their first new album in 20 years. The record arrives on April 29 via Pixiesmusic, but you can stream the whole thing here now.
"We started seriously talking about recording new music about four years ago," drummer David Lovering said in a statement. "New music seemed like something we just had to do, we just couldn't continue to go out and tour without anything new. So the talk evolved into writing and recording, and we're all very happy with the way everything worked out."
The band have had many bass player woes over the last year, and these recordings feature bassist Simon "Ding" Archer. Listen to Indie Cindy in full courtesy of the Guardian.
