The Pipettes Postpone North American Tour

BY Cam LindsayPublished Oct 1, 2007

The Pipettes have been forced to bow out of their extensive North American tour. Scheduled to begin in Chicago tomorrow on October 2, which just so happens to be the release date of their long-delayed debut album We Are the Pipettes on these shores, the boy/girl group have rescheduled some shows and kept some commitments as of October 25 in Los Angeles. Shows at the Opera House in Toronto on Friday (October 5) and Petit Campus in Montreal on Saturday (6) will no longer take place; a makeup date for Toronto at Lee's Palace on November 18 has been announced, however nothing yet for Montreal. Vancouver's performance at Plaza Club on November 3 has yet to be changed and is expected to go ahead as planned.
