Now that Pinback have relocated to Temporary Residence and begun work on a new full-length, the long-running outfit are going to be keeping themselves busy this fall with a few tour dates. Beginning in October, Rob Crow, Armistead Burwell Smith IV (aka Zach Smith) and likely some added live muscle will make the rounds in the States, popping up to Canada for a date in Vancouver as well.
As previously reported, Smith will also be rejoining his old band, the reunited Three Mile Pilot, for a few July dates as well, which again include only one Canadian date in Vancouver on July 21. And speaking of Three Mile Pilot, the other band helmed by 3MP's Pall Jenkins, the Black Heart Procession, recently joined the Temporary Residence family too. And while there is still no word on when we can expect a new Black Heart Procession record (though they say one is coming), Pinback's is expected to drop sometime next year.
