Pick a Piper

"Zenaida" (video)

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 27, 2013

The new video from Pick a Piper was helmed by Nic Brown of Video Marsh, and it continues the story previously portrayed in the videos for Caribou's "Jamelia" and Shlomo's "Rained the Whole Time."

The clip is for "Zenaida," a squelchy, synth-driven cut from this year's self-titled album. It begins with some close-up shots of a woman looking a bit glum before the whole thing turns into a haze of colours and silhouettes. Brown said in a statement, "'Zenaida' is about the inner world of a girl and her struggle to accept the death of a close friend."

Pick a Piper is available on Mint Records. See the band's tour schedule here.
