Phoenix Offer Up Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix Multitracks to Aspiring Producers

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 20, 2010

As the now-year-and-a-half-long touring cycle for Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix comes to a close, peppy French popsters Phoenix are looking to their fans to give the bulk of its current setlist another set of legs. While an official remix album was released some time ago, the group are now offering free high-quality, multitrack downloads of the source material for aspiring producers to flood the internet with. If we're lucky, this will mean even more blissful reinterpretations of hits "1901" and "Lisztomania."

"You've made every moment since the release of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix superbe and we want to thank you with a few presents before our last shows in the U.S. for a while. (You never know how long we'll take to record the next album)," Phoenix wrote on their site via a scanned-in, handwritten letter.

The multi-track versions of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix can be downloaded here.
