Pharrell Williams is set to make young readers "Happy," having entered a four-book publishing deal with Putnam Books for Young Readers.

The business venture will have the performer/producer prepping four new picture books for children, including one based on his smash single "Happy." A press release from Putnam explains that a book, also called Happy, arrives September 22. It'll feature photographs of children from around the world, "celebrating what it means to be happy." The collection will first arrive in a pressing of 250,000.

Details have not yet arrived behind the rest of Williams' upcoming books.

The "Happy" single first arrived via animated children's movie Despicable Me 2 in 2013 before being added to Williams' 2014 solo LP, G I R L. The song was a No. 1 hit for Williams. It was nominated for Best Original Song at last year's Academy Awards last year, but lost to Frozen number "Let It Go."

More recently, the track picked up Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Music Video at the Grammys.
