Apple Music launched today (June 30), and Pharrell Williams helped to celebrate by sharing a video for his song "Freedom." And while the video remains exclusive to the streaming service, the song emerged on Annie Mac's BBC One show and can be heard now.
The tune taps into a minimal, bouncy pop vibe that's fairly similar to Pharrell's 2013 hit "Happy." Rather than bubblegum positivity, however, this song is more soulful and self-serious.
