Published Aug 16, 2013Not only does the Peterborough Folk Festival offer a day-long event at Nicholls Oval on August 24, but the organizers are also hosting a weekend's worth of events at various venues around the Ontario city.
On August 23, the festival will kick off with a series of pop-up shows in downtown Peterborough. Each of these will last for around 20 minutes. Performers include Hollow Hills, Jos. The following day (August 24), Nicholls Oval will play host to the aforementioned free all-day festival. Performers include the Wooden Sky, Daniel Romano & the Trilliums, Rae Spoon, Jennifer Castle, Olenka and the Autumn Lovers, Grey Kingdom, and more.
