After dropping their Shade Driver EP late last year, Hamilton, ON stoner rock crew Pet Sun are set to unleash their debut full-length this spring. Simply titled Pet Sun, the record will arrive in early March.
With 11 new songs under their belt, the self-proclaimed "rock'n'roll heathens" have also shared the record's first single titled "The Dawn," which you can hear in the player below. Prominently featuring a memorable vocal hook and a number of ferocious drum fills, it's apparent why the song sits as the album's opening track.
Along with the album announcement, the band have announced a supporting tour that will keep them on the road for two months through Canada and the United States. March will see them trek through the southern states, highlighted by appearances at SXSW in Austin, while April will see more dates in their home and native land including stops in Hamilton, Montreal, Oakville and Toronto.
