Perry Farrell told us of his grand plans upon the arrival of solo LP Kind Heaven last year, and he's now going to reflect on several decades of his career so far with an expansive new box set.

The Jane's Addiction frontman has readied The Glitz; The Glamour for release on November 6.

The expansive set is described as "a 35-year retrospective of Perry Farrell's life, music and art," which explores his creative output outside of Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros through collecting "68 tracks worth of Perry's alt-rock rarities and heart-pounding artistic explorations."

Included in the package are remastered, half-speed mastered vinyl versions of 2001 solo LP A Song Yet to Be SungKind Heaven and releases from early Farrell bands Satellite Party and Psi Com, all of which will arrive on heavyweight wax.

A 2xLP set of remixes will find 11 tracks from each of Perry's different solo bands reworked by the likes of UNKLE, Booka ShadeMaceo Plex, the Avalanches and more, while a vinyl record of rarities and B-sides promises "an eclectic mix of new tracks and collaborations with some of Perry's peers."

Along with all that vinyl, the box will feature a Blu-ray with a Dolby Atmos mix of Kind Heaven, a book of photography, limited edition prints, a bandana, and more.

The Glitz; The Glamour is now available for pre-order, and as the world heads towards another recession, Farrell is offering fans the option of a partial payment plan for the box set. You can find Psi Com's "Ho Ka Hey" and a box teaser trailer below.
