Following the release of his acclaimed Too Bright album, Seattle pop experimenter Perfume Genius (a.k.a. Mike Hadreas) has shared a new B-side from the release.
"Thing" may not have made it to the final release of Too Bright, but it's hardly a throwaway track. Instead, it packs an astonishing amount of brooding energy into its brief three-minute runtime, layering serene pianos and vocals before revealing some dark, menacing sounds underneath.
