Seattle pop performer Perfume Genius (a.k.a. Mike Hadreas) is gearing up to drop his larger-than-life Too Bright LP later this month. As the video for "Queen" demonstrated, it's hardly a small-scale production — a fact that the new video for "Grid" only solidifies.
Directed by Charlotte Rutherford, the clip pairs the pulsing synth-pop number with some off-putting visuals. Hadreas performs some choreographed dance moves alongside some menacing silver figures, who eventually start tearing him to shreds. Covered in blood, he ends up in a tinfoil room full of blue-faced models and raw meats.
