According to various reports, an altercation occurred between the entourage of Black Eyed Peas front-man Will.I.Am and celeb gossip sweetheart Perez Hilton. Both parties were in Toronto to attend the MuchMusic Video Awards, and the assault against Hilton allegedly happened outside of Toronto's SoHo Metropolitan Hotel.
As All Hip Hop points out, Hilton started posting a number of messages on his Twitter account beginning at 3 a.m. today. "I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas and his security guards," he wrote. "I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."
Hilton posted more messages, and eventually mentioned that he'd filed a police report. His final message, however, called out Will.I.Am, saying, "There are multiple witnesses...You can deny all you want. The truth is the truth and I am telling the truth."
That final comment spurred Will.I.Am to both sign up for Twitter and release a video statement, where he made the following comment:
"I was the one that came to him with respect, and he was the one the called me a faggot outside the club... I hit you, Perez? C'mon dude, I didn't hit you. I told you that I didn't like that you disrespected us. It's cool to have your opinion. Apparently you were bleeding outside the club and I was standing right next to you by a tree, waiting for my car. Instead of calling the police, you Twitted that I assaulted you? [It] sounds like someone wants mad attention and is not really concerned about his health... Shame on you, and shame on your behavior."
As of yet, Will.I.Am has not been charged, and Perez Hilton is likely drawing penises on his forehead with MS Paint.
