Published Jan 13, 2015Occasionally, Four Tet producer Kieran Hebden likes to roll out troves of rarities. Luckily for fans, today (January 13) is one of those days, since he just shared a collection of material made under his Percussions moniker.
The collection is called 2011 Until 2014. Much of the material has been previously released, but this marks the first time any of it has been available digitally, since the songs previously appeared on vinyl-only 12-inches. There are also some previously unheard cuts from Hebden's archives.
There are 11 tracks in all, meaning that this is generous enough to be considered a full-length. All of the songs are hypnotic instrumentals (so don't expect anything too salacious out of "Sext"), with cloudy synths and pulsing drum machines.
