Following in the steps of WayHome, BC's Tall Tree Music Festival is offering disappointed Pemberton Music Festival pass holders a chance to attend the upcoming event for free.

Today (May 24) Tall Tree Music Festival launched an exchange program where pass holders of the now-cancelled Pemberton festival can exchange their tickets to attend Tall Tree instead. The exchange program is first come, first serve, and the festival will honour ticket exchange inquiries to a maximum of 250.

"Tall Tree believes strongly in the bringing together of people and music to celebrate life on the West Coast," Tall Tree's Emmalee Brunt said in a statement. "Following the news of Pemberton's cancellation, notably that ticket holders would not receive a refund, festival organizers decided to offer a ticket-for-ticket exchange to provide those who suddenly found themselves out of pocket and without a festival experience this summer."

You can get more info on the exchange program here.

As previously reported, the Tall Tree Music Festival takes place in Port Renfrew, BC, from June 23 to 26, with headliners including Beats Antique, Tokyo Police Club and Shapeshifter.
