Next month, Pearl Jam will return with their long-awaited new album Gigaton. They've already released plenty of music videos , as well as some sort of inexplicable moon device, but they're not done with the treats yet. Pearl Jam have also announced plans for a global theatrical listening party, which is set to air two days before the album's March 27 release date.

As CTV reports, Landmark Cinemas locations in Regina and Kelowna have shared listings to air the Gigaton album film on March 25. As of press time, release plans for other cities have not yet been revealed. The poster also points to pearljam.com/onenightonly, but the does not lead anywhere as of press time.

UPDATE (3/5, 2 p.m. EST): You can now view all of the Canadian locations for the screening events here

That said, it looks like it will be a strong choice for Pearl Jam fans. According to an AMC listing from the United States, the film "is an opportunity for fans to gather and enjoy the group's anxiously awaited new album, Gigaton with an amazing cinematic experience which will also be enhanced with visuals as Pearl Jam project their vision like never before with an experiential event befitting of Gigaton's scope, size, and spirit."

"The Gigaton Listening Experience includes a playback of the entire album in Dolby Atmos," the write-up continues. "Since this 3D sound system is still new to the consumer market, Pearl Jam fans will have a unique opportunity to hear the album in a completely different way."

Gigaton arrives March 27 via Monkeywrench/Republic and marks the follow-up to 2013's Lightning Bolt. In addition to a night at the movies, Pearl Jam will head out on a world tour later this year. See all the dates here.
