Pearl Jam will play "The Home Shows" in Seattle this summer, and to celebrate the event, the grunge heroes are getting their very own museum exhibit.

The exhibit is called "Pearl Jam: Home & Away," and it will be held at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle starting on August 11. The installation promises to showcase 28 years of memorabilia from PJ's warehouse.

On the band's website, Pearl Jam explained, "This extensive exhibition will feature personal instruments, equipment, stage props, original typewritten lyrics and notebooks, original poster and album art, set lists, and a photo op featuring the towering letters from Ten."

In a statement, MoPOP senior curator Jacob McMurray added, "This exhibition will give an intimate first-hand look at PEARL JAM's journey from 1990 to the present and into the future. From their beginnings as one of the originators of the 'Seattle Sound' and the grunge phenomenon, to their sustained global impact as one of the most popular and respected bands in the world, Pearl Jam's story is still unfolding as they continue to sell out shows worldwide and use their stage to further social and political consciousness."

The band state, "These shows are about shining a spotlight on the problem and solutions to homelessness in our hometown and joining a growing list of businesses, individuals, government agencies, and foundations who are collaborating to tackle the biggest public health crisis to hit our community in recent history."
