After decades of searching for his big break, Paul McCartney has finally booked a role that will surely have him recognized at Hollywood parties. The solo artist, Wings man and former Beatle will appear alongside Johnny Depp in the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
The fifth movie in the franchise bears the cumbersome title Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. It was directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg.
According to Deadline, the pair reportedly wrapped production on the film earlier this year, but decided to add an extra scene that features Paul McCartney.
In addition to Macca and Depp, Dead Men stars Geoffrey Rush, Javier Bardem, Brenton Thwaites, Kaya Scodelario and Orlando Bloom.
The new Pirates of the Caribbean arrives on May 26, 2017.
