Paul McCartney Books North American Tour

Paul McCartney Books North American Tour
He's officially a senior citizen, but Paul McCartney is keeping busy in his old age. In addition to embarking upon an extensive reissue campaign, he also has a pair of new LPs on the way: a collection of pop standards and a "heavy rock album." Now, the Beatles legend has unveiled a set of new tour dates.

The outing is called the On the Run Tour. An announcement on Sir Paul's MySpace promises that the shows will offer "nearly three hours of the world's most familiar and beloved music, with hits, deep cuts and surprises spanning McCartney's unrivalled catalogue of Beatles, Wings, solo and Fireman classics."

There are a handful of U.S. dates scheduled, plus one Canadian show: Montreal on July 26. Some sources report that McCartney will play in Winnipeg on August 23, but this is not yet confirmed. See the current schedule below.
