Patrick Watson Announces North American Dates

As Patrick Watson gets set to release his new Wooden Arms LP, the Montreal pop whiz has made good on his promise to deliver us some tour dates.

Beginning this April, Watson and his three-man band have announced they will take their road show across Canada, the U.S. and Europe, touching down in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, among other cities.

As previously reported, the tour comes in conjunction with the spring release of Wooden Arms, the follow-up to his Polaris Prize-winning Close to Paradise. Due out on April 28 in Canada and May 5 in the U.S. via Secret City Records, Watson's forthcoming effort promises to bring more "stripped-down rejuvenation" from the songwriter, with his voice and orchestration being put to "a rhythmic percussive foundation that has been brought to the forefront."
