Partner Go Full Country on New Song "Tell You Off"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Feb 28, 2019

Partner recently took us on a trip to "Long and McQuade," but the Maritime indie rock troupe are now teasing their upcoming EP with another new track.

"Tell You Off" marks the second single from the upcoming Saturday the 14th, and it's a surprisingly barnyard-inspired jam — and not just because of the country-tinged twang. It features a smattering of farm animal noises, from clucking chickens to mooing cows.

Despite the images of farmland, barns and kooky animals that the song conjures, it was actually written in Josée Caron's bedroom in Windsor. Listen to "Tell You Off" below.

Saturday the 14th is due out April 5 via You've Changed Records in Canada and Father/Daughter Records in the United States. As previously reported, Partner have a string of North American tour dates coming up, including some with Wintersleep. You can see Partner's complete schedule over here.
