Park-Like Setting School Day 2, Garbage Day 4

School's getting in a little late for Park-Like Setting's Mcenroe (producer/MC), John Smith (MC) and DJ Hunnicut. Park-Like Setting has created a conceptually strong album that breaks each song down into potential college courses. My favourite courses for this semester are "Francais," "Personal Development II" and "Information Technology." But, after attending each class a few times, I can honestly say that this is one school worth investing in, with a large variety of courses that will tempt you to want to take them all. With School Day 2, Garbage Day 4, Mcenroe has really come into his own, as both a producer and MC. While his very personal stories of isolation ("Social Studies") and lack of social standing ("Political Science") are still evident, Mcenroe's flow comes off better than ever. Plus, the beats are Mcenroe's best yet, serving as the perfect chalkboard for professors Mcenroe and John Smith to teach their lessons. My only regret with this album is that DJ Hunnicut doesn't get as much class-time as the rest, but I guess that's the price you pay when you speak with your hands. School is in session, so pick up your Park-Like Setting course calendar and choose your classes quickly before they all fill up. (Peanuts & Corn)
