Virginia-based outfit Parachute pared themselves down from a five-piece to a trio before recording their latest record Wide Awake, effectively shaking off all creative inhibitions. One week before their latest effort arrives, Exclaim! is giving you a chance to hear the LP in its entirety.

Teaming up once more with producer John Fields, who also helmed 2009's Losing Sleep and 2011's The Way It Was, the new record takes the band's expressive, passionate pop-rock sound to new heights. Across 12 new tracks, the band's refined songwriting and sense of melody gets displayed with boundless energy and emotional depth.

"We felt like we had no limitations to chase this sound that the three of us have wanted to build for so long," vocalist/guitarist Will Anderson explained in a press release. "It was as if we were woken up from some sort of slumber, revitalized and rejuvenated with this new awareness of who we are as a band."

Wide Awake is set to drop on March 11 through Vanguard Records, but you can hear the entire record ahead of time in the player below.
